It seems that changes are a foot in the world of PKR Poker and the affiliate business. PKR will be changing the affiliate terms and conditions to disallow any affiliate members from promoting PKR using any aspect of “PKR” in affiliate URL’s. On speaking with the affiliate managers today http://www.PKR1.co.uk will no longer be able to promote one of the best online poker rooms. Bad news in some aspects regarding affiliates, as I know most have spent a great deal of time and effort in building and marketing their sites, not to mention great organic search engine rankings on numerous affiliate PKR sites.

Our site PKR1.co.uk has quite a good google page listing on a variety of keywords although something can be salvaged out of this change in the terms and conditions. It seems a little strange that we can continue to market poker through this url but not have any PKR links contained with in the site.  PKR will be contacting affiliates once the amended T&C’s are sorted out if not sooner. Disregarding this advice will result in commissions being forfeited.

RedKings Pro Toni Ojala makes the final table in EPT Barcelona!

10th September – After a fantastic win by Ramzi Jelassi 2 weeks ago in the IPT San Remo, Team RedKings Pro Toni Ojala reached the final table in EPT Barcelona late last night to provide Team RedKings with a sensational start to the new European poker season. Toni, the 2008 Finnish Champion, played solid poker all of yesterday building on his amazing display over the past 4 days to make his very first EPT final table. A tired but jubilant Ojala commented “I have been playing my best tournament poker for a long time, and I have won the important coinflips, and I hope that will continue tomorrow, because then I don’t know where this will end“ Unsurprised by this fantastic achievement, a very happy RedKings Poker Live Events Manager Jerry Land said “Toni has been so consistent over the past year that it was only a matter of time that he reached a Final Table in a Major Tournament. Watching Toni last night was nerve racking but I knew he would do it when he got the 9 on the river to make the set which kept him in the game.” ‘Toni is right now guaranteed €80.000, but the winner gets €850.000 and that is what he will be chasing during the final table tomorrow’.
