Ban Children From Gaming
Is is old age, or am I on a different planet when it comes to a sense of fair play. We have posted about this before but the problem just seems to be getting worse, the side select in Instant Action. This is the button you press when choosing your side and the biggest turn off and it literally is a turn off as I shut down the game when ever this occurs.
It is all about stacking sides, Instant Action is probably the best online gaming platform around at present but the sense of fair play is pretty much non existent. One of our favourite games is CTF or Capture The Flag, a team based game where you have to score points by capturing your enemies flag and returning it you your own. The teams either 8 a side or 16 a side make a truly teriffic game if sides are even. To be totally honest I cannot see the point of playing a game if the odds totally against you. But this is down to the childish mentality of gamers who above all want to win at all costs and seem to have the fair play chip missing from their minds.
At what age does this chip get inserted?
Considering the length of time Instant Action has been around in Beta Testing the numbers of players globally is dwindling, this must have a bearing on good game play if quality players are disappearing.
Solution: Get rid of the side select or ban all children from gaming.
Instant Action is closely slipping from The Dogs Bollocks to just Bollocks
Instant Action victim of it’s own success
Recently in playing Instant Action Legions it seems that IA is either a victim of its own success or players within just do not know the meaning of team. The game CTF is a team based game where by you capture the opponents flag and return it to your home base to score. More and more in playing IA legions the sides just get stacked, I think this may have something to do with youth not being able to handle losing. I guess they are playing Time games as there is no I in team. The game format has the option of either choosing sides or the auto select option. Clicking on the auto select the IA platform makes sides even in numbers win or lose at least you have a fair and good game. What happens more often is players switch sides just to be a winner, this in effect just spoils a great game and the only thing is to find another game or switch off. It is usually the latter.
We keep coming back for more punishment as this is one of the best browser based games out. Come on IA sort it out
Instant Action Supasses itself
Instant Action just gets better. Barely out of nappies this awesome First Person Shooter launches its latest update in the Legions arena. The guys at Garage Games have certainly pulled out all of the stops on this version. The choice of player still remains the same however the one big difference is the pick and mix of weaponry. Weather you are flying the Sentinel class, Outrider or Raider the weapons chosen can be matched to your particular style of game play. The Chaser has as it’s main weapons a 20 shot rocket launcher and chain gun, the Stinger, a chain gun and grenade launcher. Fly as a sniper and grab your Mark II laser rifle with chain gun as your secondary weapon, where as the bomber boasts a rocket launcher and grenade launcher, a must for reckless explosive abandonment.

Other great features include a player cam, where spectators can click in and watch the match in play. The game play is certainly hotting up with so many skillful players, the video below is by Zhouyo showing a couple of capping routes.
Instant Action is definitely one of the best gaming platforms on the net to date and the big players in this arena should take note on how the future of gaming is to be. (Feeling a little prophetic)
