Land of the f.ree
Land of the F.REE an uptake on the supposedly free businesses that swamp the Internet.
This never seems to baffle me, in a country that promotes itself as the land of opportunity and the land of the free, where you can carry a gun and shoot someone in certain circumstances quite legally, (correct me if I am wrong). To add to that carry out executions and detain persons without trial on the hear say that they are terrorists.
But you are not allowed to have a game of poker or play one of your mates at pool or any other game for that matter for money. What gives??
The Latest “Wake Up Call”: Why Politics Matters to the Online Gaming Industry
Still think that politics doesn’t affect your business? If you’re an online poker affiliate, you should be alarmed at how the U.S. government is treating poker players. Barney Frank’s anti-UIGEA bill may not be the perfect solution, but it’s better than constantly getting harassed with this kind of nonsense.
The bottom line? If we want to have confidence in our careers as gaming affiliates, we need to get these moralizing politicians off our backs once and for all. Read more about the online poker “Wake Up Call” here.
I wonder how many politicians play poker, one of the ultimate games of skill. Luck does not come into this game at all. If the politicians are anything like the ones over here in the UK, they probabley have card schools in their duck houses.
